Recently, Xiaomi launched the Redmi Note 9 Pro 5G as the Xiaomi Mi 10i in India. And today, the global smartphone market has got a new rebranded Redmi phone. The company has launched the Redmi Note 9T in the global market. The smartphone is nothing but just a rebranded version of the Redmi Note 9 5G already available in China. Xiaomi launched the Redmi Note 9 5G and Note 9 Pro 5G in China ack in November of 2020. These were the first 5G smartphones in the Redmi Note series.

Anyway, the newly launched Redmi Note 9T comes at a starting price of €199, and at this price, the smartphone offers a decent set of specifications that resembles a lot of Redmi Note 9 5G with slight changes here and there. The Redmi Note 9T is a 5G smartphone and comes with the MediaTek Dimensity 800U 5G processor. It packs a 60Hz display, a 48MP triple camera module, a 5000mAh battery, and a lot more.

Redmi Note 8T Specifications

The Redmi Note 9T is a budget 5G smartphone and comes with a polycarbonate back panel with a textured finish. There is a circular camera module at the back of the smartphone along with a physical fingerprint sensor on the right side of the phone. The phone also offers a single hole-punch display housing the front camera The bottom of the smartphone is filled with ports like YSB-C, a 3.5mm jack, and a set of stereo speakers.

The smartphone has a 6.53-inches Full-HD+ LCD display with a standard 60Hz refresh rate and gets power from the Dimensity 800U 5G SoC under the hood. This is an Octa-Core SoC and also comes with an integrated 5G modem. The SoC is paired with 4GB of LPDDR4x RAM and 64GB (UFS 2.1) or 128GB (UFS 2.2) of onboard storage.

The smartphone packs a 5,000mAh battery that supports 18W of fast charging but the phone comes with an awkward 22.5W adapter. Talking about the cameras, the rear triple camera module packs a 48MP primary camera, coupled with a 2MP macro, and a 2MP depth sensor. There is no ultrawide (present in the Chinese variant) or telephoto sensor. On the front, there is a 13MP selfie shooter. The phone runs over MIUI 12 based on Android 10.

Redmi Note 9T Pricing and Availability

The smartphone is available in two storage variants. Here are the prices of those variants –

  • 4GB + 64GB – €229 (~$280)
  • 4GB + 128GB – €269 (~$330)

Talking about the availability, for the first few sales the smartphone will be available at a discounted price of €199 and €249 for the two variants respectively.
